Run For CF, Km's For a Cure is a fundraising run from the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, to Albury NSW. The event involves running 65 km per day, for 5 days, with a total distance of 325 km. The event organisers/participants John and Matthew, hope to raise much needed funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, to aid in one day finding a cure. The run will take place from the 21st to 25th of May 2012.

The 25th of May is 65 roses day, the national day of Cystic Fibrosis awareness. This day is the reasoning behind running 65 km per day and a very important day on the guys calendar each year.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common life threatening, recessive genetic disease affecting Australian children.

Cystic Fibrosis affects a number of organs in the body (especially the lungs and pancreas) by clogging them with thick, sticky mucus. At present there is no cure for CF. The life expectancy of Cystic Fibrosis is only 38 and has only recently risen to this via important fundraising efforts like Run For CF, Km's For a Cure.
